Love Me, Love My Voice Episode 26 Story: “Feng Ya Song, constantly on edge about Dou Dou Dou Bing”
Time flies, and just like that, two years zip by. Gu Sheng, now a postgraduate success story, heads to the Perfect Dubbing Studio early in the morning, ready to face the day. On her way, she bumps into Zou Diao Er, who’s standing downstairs, gazing earnestly in the direction of the studio. Ever the teaser, Gu Sheng can’t resist poking a little fun at him. However, as she enters the studio, an unusual atmosphere greets her – everyone is buzzing around, seemingly busy, and nobody bothers to acknowledge her presence. It feels a bit odd not to be greeted, but the suspense doesn’t last long. Dou Dou Dou Bing strides in with a cake, breaking the act, and the whole crew bursts into celebration mode. Gu Sheng’s successful graduation becomes the centerpiece of the festivities, and the genuine warmth of the moment tugs at her heartstrings.
Mo Qingcheng, ever the practical one, nudges everyone to dive into the cake festivities quickly since Feng Ya Song has a blind date waiting. Feng Ya Song, quick on the defense, clarifies that it’s more of a family-assigned task than an actual date. Dou Dou Dou Bing, however, doesn’t seem thrilled with the revelation. In an attempt to uphold the public image of Perfect Dubbing, she’s specially prepared a suit for Feng Ya Song, emphasizing the need for a formal look. Feng Ya Song, somewhat reluctantly, shuffles off to change into the suit. Yet, when he hears about Mo Mo’s plan to have Dou Dou Dou Bing pose as his girlfriend, a sudden reluctance grips him, and his feet seem rooted to the spot. Searching for any excuse to dissuade Dou Dou Dou Bing from attending Mo Mo’s unit’s mixer, he can’t find a valid reason.
Feng Ya Song spills the beans to his pretend girlfriend, asking her to go all out and order the most expensive dishes as compensation. When she inquires about his relationship status, he confesses to not having a girlfriend at the moment but admits to harboring feelings for someone. Meanwhile, Dou Dou Dou Bing is also wrestling with her own uncertainties. Despite the apparent chilliness between her and Mo Mo, there’s an unspoken connection. Stepping outside during dinner for some fresh air, she reflects on a previous Chinese New Year celebration with Feng Ya Song, where an inexplicable connection lingered between them, left unclarified.
Feng Ya Song, constantly on edge about Dou Dou Dou Bing, finds himself unable to reach her through messages. Desperate, he calls Mo Bai and enlists his help to locate Mo Mo and Dou Dou Dou Bing. Witnessing Feng Ya Song’s anxious state, Dou Dou Dou Bing maintains a cool exterior but secretly revels in his concern. The two engage in a heated argument during the journey, and Mo Bai finally sees sparks flying between them. Mo Mo, keenly observant, seizes the moment to leave them alone to navigate their unspoken feelings.
With a craving for coconut rice, Gu Sheng casually mentions it, and, of course, Mo Qingcheng obliges. Mo Mo sends a message, revealing that Dou Dou Dou Bing hasn’t eaten and asks Mo Qingcheng to fetch her some food. Taking charge, Mo Qingcheng enlists Gu Sheng’s help to retrieve more food from the refrigerator. As Gu Sheng steps out for drinks, she stumbles upon Feng Ya Song and Dou Dou Dou Bing still caught in a disagreement, creating a somewhat awkward scenario. Fortunately, Mo Qingcheng steps in as the mediator, setting a different tone for Feng Ya Song and Dou Dou Dou Bing’s relationship.
Gu Sheng has finally earned her graduation stripes, and she, along with Geng Xiaoxing, is in full swing, capturing the essence of this achievement through graduation photos. Mo Qingcheng and Zhou Zheng swoop in to extend their heartfelt congratulations. In a surprise move, Mo Qingcheng hands Gu Sheng an unexpected gift, unveiling plans for a trip to Yangshuo. The realization hits Gu Sheng that she needs to pack up her dormitory pronto to catch that flight. Ever the planner, Geng Xiaoxing reassures her that Mo Qingcheng has got everything sorted out for her. Happiness engulfs Gu Sheng as the weight of Mo Qingcheng’s thoughtful arrangements sinks in.
This Yangshuo expedition isn’t your typical romantic escapade for two; it’s a team affair involving the entire Perfect Dubbing Team. It’s Mo Qingcheng’s way of delivering a bonus to the crew. Lao Zhu extends a warm welcome and assigns a villa for Mo Qingcheng and Gu Sheng. This time around, Mo Qingcheng doesn’t turn down the offer. Taking Gu Sheng to the villa, he spills the beans about buying a house next to the recording studio. The idea is to keep work and life separate, creating a cozy abode for their future. Gu Sheng, curious about the timing, learns that Mo Qingcheng had this master plan in mind when he proposed the idea of marriage two years ago. Playfully, she expresses her commitment to taking responsibility for Mo Qingcheng forever.
