Gu Sheng, donning a cute act, claimed to have only had a bit of instant noodles, resorting to snacks to fill her up. Without delay, Mo Qingcheng got to work on cooking hot pot noodles. Before diving into dinner, Gu Sheng playfully adorned the window with numerous hearts, showering praise on Mo Qingcheng’s culinary prowess. In a light-hearted banter, she suggested the idea of opening a small restaurant, and Mo Qingcheng, playing along, insisted that she should be the boss.
As dawn approached, Zhou Zheng’s overtime neared its end. Observing that Geng Xiaoxing was still wide awake and engaged in a voice chat about perfect dubbing, he decided to join as a guest. Occasionally contributing to the conversation, Zhou Zheng couldn’t resist adding a few words when Feng Ya Song boasted about being single, typing instead of using his voice. Though Feng Ya Song remained oblivious to Zhou Zheng’s identity, he felt a peculiar familiarity and chose to leave early. Treating Zhou Zheng as just another guest, Geng Xiaoxing inquired about his knowledge of perfect dubbing. Zhou Zheng, claiming to be a devoted fan from the beginning, successfully concealed his true identity.
After the broadcast, Geng Xiaoxing, bothered by her roommate Qi Yao, who stayed up late watching a movie, reached out to Zhou Zheng, concerned about whether he had made it home. Assuming he had already fallen asleep, she suggested he reply in the morning. To her surprise, Zhou Zheng responded promptly, sparking a late-night conversation. Zhou Zheng even asked her to record an audio for him, a request that made Geng Xiaoxing a bit nervous. However, Zhou Zheng reciprocated by recording an audio of counting sheep, lulling Geng Xiaoxing to sleep with his magnetic voice.
After Mo Qingcheng and Gu Sheng enjoyed their dinner, the approaching dawn prompted them to pack up the camp bed. Concerned that Gu Sheng’s mother might form a different opinion if she saw it, they decided to stow it away. Subsequently, Mo Qingcheng escorted Gu Sheng to the hospital duty room. Intrigued by everything she saw, Mo Qingcheng suggested she take a nap on his bed while he attended to matters in the director’s office. Gu Sheng, lying on Mo Qingcheng’s bed, felt his presence, and perhaps due to exhaustion, she quickly drifted into sleep. When she woke up, it was Mo Qingcheng’s call. Informed by a nurse to visit the director’s office, Mo Qingcheng headed back. Thinking Mo Qingcheng had returned, Gu Sheng eagerly opened the door, only to be seen by Zhang Lele and a nurse. Realizing they had disturbed her, they swiftly found an excuse and left.
Once Mo Qingcheng completed his tasks and returned, eager to catch up on sleep with Gu Sheng, she amusingly speculated that it was a doctor’s duty room, and Mo Qingcheng wouldn’t do anything there. Seeing through her thoughts, Mo Qingcheng walked to another bed. Shortly after, Zhang Lele appeared again to discuss medical records, interrupting the couple’s rest. Feeling embarrassed, Gu Sheng got up and left.
Upon returning home, Gu Sheng aired the quilt upstairs. Her grandfather, curious about her relationship with Mo Qingcheng, expressed a desire to meet him someday. Convinced of his perceptiveness, especially in assessing people in the same profession, he reassured her that the family would feel at ease after meeting Mo Qingcheng. Gu Sheng evaded the topic, concerned that Mo Qingcheng’s visit might make her grandfather nervous.
Mo Qingcheng drove to pick up Gu Sheng, and she took him to the recording studio, citing a blocked sewer as the reason for today’s plumber visit. Guai Guai and Zou Diao Er seemed a bit tense upon seeing Mo Qingcheng. Gu Sheng stepped in to ease the atmosphere, and Zou Diao Er expressed a desire to work at the Perfect Dubbing Studio. Guai Guai also entertained the idea but was convinced to stay by Gu Sheng.
Xi You voiced his grievances about Feng Ya Song being frugal, and Dou Dou Dou Bing shared some insights, depicting Feng Ya Song as independent, earning his own tuition fees. While he might be generous when it comes to treating others, spending money was another story.
