Love Me, Love My Voice Episode 31 Story: “Mo Qingcheng carried her into the room and the two kiss”

After a day full of adventures, Gu Sheng was completely worn out. Being the sweetheart that he is, Mo Qingcheng carried her into the room. Once on the bed, the two of them got lost in a world of kisses and embraces, reluctant to part even for a moment. Although hunger was gnawing at Gu Sheng a bit, the intimacy of the moment took precedence. Meanwhile, the status of Zhou Zheng and Geng Xiaoxing’s relationship remained a bit of a mystery. Despite the obvious chemistry, they hadn’t explicitly addressed their feelings. Mo Bai and Mu Mu, being the sly matchmakers they were, subtly created opportunities for the duo to be together. Still, the air was charged with unspoken sentiments. Zhou Zheng harbored concerns; he was afraid that if things didn’t escalate into a romantic relationship, they might not even remain friends, a scenario he hadn’t anticipated.

The next morning, after Mo Qingcheng and Gu Sheng woke up, they discovered Wu Ge and Dong Yiru waiting at the door. The duo was invited to join in the fun, and to Dong Yiru’s delight, Mo Qingcheng even handed her signed photos of the Perfect Dubbing Team. The unexpected joy made her day, as she hadn’t imagined getting so close to her idols. The quartet hopped on a tandem bike, cruising to the next attraction where Wu Ge proposed a friendly competition between the two pairs. Surprisingly, Dong Yiru transformed into an undercover agent, determined to ensure that Wu Ge didn’t outshine Mo Qingcheng and Gu Sheng.

The three-day escapade breezed by, and as they returned, Mo Qingcheng drove Gu Sheng and Wu Ge home. In a tactful move, Wu Ge hopped out of the car first, leaving a reluctant Gu Sheng to finally make her way home. Lying in bed that night, sleep proved elusive as Gu Sheng’s mind replayed the day’s moments, particularly dwelling on Mo Qingcheng’s considerate gestures.

Back at the studio, Mo Qingcheng, eager for updates, asked about the progress between Zhou Zheng and Geng Xiaoxing. Zhou Zheng, opening up, voiced his concerns about the potential strain on their friendship if romance didn’t blossom. Mo Qingcheng, ever the supportive friend, encouraged him to take the leap of courage. Meanwhile, Wang Ke and Fei Shao went gift shopping for Mao Ge, who astutely read the situation and accurately assessed Zhou Zheng’s dilemma. According to Mao Ge, Zhou Zheng looked like a romantic on the surface but lacked the boldness to confess when the moment called for it. Mao Ge’s spot-on observations garnered admiration from the onlookers.

Post-trip, Gu Sheng found herself enveloped in the protective bubble created by her older brothers. They insisted she steer clear of household chores and treated her to delectable meals. In the midst of this, Wu Ge rushed in with some unsettling news – there was a fire near the supermarket. Unable to reach Mo Qingcheng by phone, Gu Sheng’s worry meter skyrocketed. Unable to connect with Zhou Zheng either, she turned to Geng Xiaoxing, who, with a hint of hesitation, assured her that Mo Qingcheng was safe. Perplexed, Gu Sheng pressed for details, and Geng Xiaoxing reluctantly spilled the beans – she was currently at Zhou Zheng and Mo Qingcheng’s rental house, and Mo Qingcheng seemed to be catching up on some much-needed sleep.

Determined to get to the bottom of things, Gu Sheng headed to the house Mo Qingcheng rented. Using the key, she cautiously opened the door and spotted Zhou Zheng’s door tightly shut. Not wanting to intrude, she hesitated. Just then, Mo Qingcheng emerged, fully aware of her concerns. He warmly took her inside, quelling her anxieties. Lying on the bed together, Mo Qingcheng, in a tender moment, asked if she wanted to spend every day waiting for him to return from work, if she wanted to hear his voice daily. It was a clear proposal, albeit an unconventional one – after all, who proposes in bed? Mo Qingcheng laid out his desire to marry Gu Sheng, envisioning a life where he would cook for his wife, relishing the simplicity of their shared existence. Nestling sweetly in his arms, Gu Sheng responded not with words, but with the language of love.

With Gu Sheng in his arms, Mo Qingcheng spun a tale about Ling Long Ti Tou asking him to pick a song for an album. Despite being a rather picky individual, Mo Qingcheng was captivated by the sample of Gu Sheng’s song. Ling Long Ti Tou, too, was smitten with the melody but refrained from digging deeper into the author’s identity to avoid unnecessary complications. Thus began Mo Qingcheng’s quest to find the owner of that enchanting voice, a search that lasted a long while. Eventually, fate led him to Gu Sheng’s voice room. That’s when the realization hit him – the person behind the captivating voice was none other than Gu Sheng, someone he had known for a long time and had been a dedicated fan of.
