Love Me, Love My Voice Episode 7 Story: Is this a date?
Is this a date?
Gu Sheng discovered that Mo Qingcheng had brought her to the residential area merely to park the car, and a wave of relief washed over her. Seizing the moment, Mo Qingcheng subtly suggested exchanging phone numbers, anticipating the crowded exhibition where such information might prove handy. Gu Sheng, aware of his indirect request, didn’t give back her number but couldn’t help feeling a sense of satisfaction at keeping him guessing.
A new “couple” at the exhibition
As they entered the exhibition, navigating through the lively spectacle, Mo Qingcheng took the initiative to protect her from the crowd, making them look like a couple. Their presence drew attention, especially from Mo Bai and Mu Mu, the main characters of a game who happened to be friends with Mo Qingcheng. The duo greeted him warmly, teasing him about the rumored relationship with Gu Sheng. Mo Bai, an avid follower of Mo Qingcheng’s Weibo, sensed a hidden connection between the two.
Seeing her curious about game peripherals, Gu Sheng caught Mo Qingcheng’s attention, and suggested buying some. When the salesperson assumed they were a couple, Mo Qingcheng neither confirmed nor corrected, and Gu Sheng tacitly went along. Later, during the quest for autographs, Mo Bai and Mu Mu playfully inscribed words like “lasting happiness for a hundred years” and “early birth of noble offspring,” making Gu Sheng blush.
Unfortunately, Mo Qingcheng received an urgent call from the hospital. Apologizing, he accompanied Gu Sheng back, displaying boyfriend-like gestures such as helping with her scarf. These actions left Gu Sheng somewhat infatuated, while Mo Qingcheng’s fondness for her continued to deepen.
Another Valentine’s date?
Meanwhile, Geng Xiaoxing had a Valentine’s Day meeting with Juemei for a contract discussion. Initially indifferent, Geng Xiaoxing, prompted by Qi Yao, realized the significance of the meeting. She found Juemei alone, looking handsome, but her hopes were momentarily dashed when another girl approached him. After a fan’s autograph request, Geng Xiaoxing finally met Jue Mei, signed the contract, and shared a meal. Despite satisfaction, she reminded herself that their interaction was strictly work-related.
Yi Ru discovers their secret
Simultaneously, Gu Sheng faced a revelation at the supermarket after Dou Dou’s Weibo post. Dong Yi Ru, recognizing Sheng Sheng Man and Qing Qing Ci in the photo, learned the truth from Gu Sheng. Excited, Dong Yi Ru promised to keep this a secret but as she didn’t suspect that Qing Qing Ci was Mo Qincheng she also feared that Gu Sheng would end up dating two people affecting her idol.
Meeting Ling Long at the hospital
Upon returning home, Gu Sheng discovered her grandfather’s hospitalization in the same hospital where Mo Qingcheng worked. Eager to visit, she hoped to catch a glimpse of his workplace. Fate intervened as she indeed encountered Mo Qingcheng. Ling Long Ti Tou, rumored to be Mo Qingcheng’s girlfriend, worked with him as a doctor. She also approached Gu Sheng, expressing interest in her music. Confused, Gu Sheng tentatively agreed to consider the proposal.
After work, Ling Long Ti Tou hitched a ride with Mo Qingcheng. Despite her efforts, Mo Qingcheng seemed indifferent to her advances. Mo Qingcheng, aware of the potential discomfort, invited Gu Sheng to dinner the next day, ensuring a casual gathering by including two colleagues at the rented house he shared with Zhou Zheng. The intricate interplay of relationships and revelations set the stage for further developments in this captivating episode.
