As Tang Xin joined them, she lied about her car’s maintenance, wanting to ride in Tang Yu’s car. Tang Yu, skeptical, allowed her, causing a brief annoyance. During the ride, Tang Yu noticed Tang Xin’s business skills and suggested sharing them at the company. However, she guarded her “exclusive secret.” Discussing her novel’s adaptation, Tang Yu thought it needed maturity for the current challenges. At home, Tang Yu discovered a cat, and asked to be cared for. Tang Xin, learning of a Malaysia business trip, requested to join and adopted the cat. On the set of “White Dew as Frost,” Tang Xin worked tirelessly, catching Tang Yu’s attention when he visited. Huo Chendong noticed Tang Yu’s changing attitude toward Tang Xin. Lu Zhixing expressed interest in adapting Tang Xin’s novel, saddening her as she wished it was Tang Yu.
Tang Dingding, tasked to pick up the cat, was distracted by Huo Chendong. The cat made a mess, and Tang Yu, scratched, seeking Tang Xin’s cat-raising expertise. She left her meeting with Lu Zhixing to help. Tang Xin, sensing Tang Yu’s feelings, decided to confess after a heartfelt moment during the cat’s check-up.
