Embrace Love Episode 1 Recap

“Recap of Episode 1 In the year 2222, there was a lady named Yan Mo who was an actress. She got sick because of an accident, and the only cure for her was a special serum with rare blood. Yan Mo’s friend, Dr. Lu Feiyan, a scholar who could travel through time, found a person named Gu Yanzhi who could help her. Gu Yanzhi was a great scientist from 2022, two hundred years ago. Dr. Lu Feiyan spent a year creating a time-travel machine to send Yan Mo back to 2022 to get Gu Yanzhi’s blood.

Dr. Lu Feiyan loaded all the info about Gu Yanzhi into a robot named Xiao O for Yan Mo to take with her. Dr. Lu Feiyan’s time machine could move through time and space in a closed-loop way called the CTC loop. Yan Mo had to be careful not to change history. She had only one year left to live, and Dr. Lu Feiyan reminded her to return on time. He gave her a blood collection device like a bracelet for convenience.

Dr. Lu Feiyan also gave Yan Mo a stealth drug, but she had to use it only in emergencies because it had side effects. In a hurry, Yan Mo left without fully understanding Dr. Lu Feiyan’s instructions about not revealing her identity.

Gu Yanzhi was a famous scientist from the 21st century who did significant research on blood diseases. On April 23, 2022, Yan Mo arrived at his place, accidentally waking him up, and created a time loop, going back to the same day. She met her assistant Xiao O and learned about the time loop.

To avoid more time loops and save her remaining time, Yan Mo decided to blend into the current time. She learned about modern life and everything related to Gu Yanzhi. Gu Yanzhi had a strict work style and annoyed his bosses at the research institute. He even fired his third assistant for a small mistake.

Under pressure from the HR department, Gu Yanzhi agreed to attend an awards ceremony organized by his friend Zhou Hanzhang. However, he refused to accept the award in person, which embarrassed Zhou Hanzhang. After the ceremony, Zhou Hanzhang suggested that Gu Yanzhi stay in a hotel, which gave Yan Mo an opportunity to collect his blood.

Disguised as a fan, Yan Mo went into Gu Yanzhi’s hotel room, but her attempt to collect his blood was interrupted when Gu Yanzhi woke up. Unable to explain, Yan Mo pretended to be a fan, but Gu Yanzhi saw through her disguise. In the chaos, Yan Mo’s blood collection failed, and rumors spread about Gu Yanzhi’s encounter with a strange fan.

To find out who Yan Mo was, Zhou Hanzhang promised to help Gu Yanzhi. But despite many attempts, Yan Mo couldn’t get close to Gu Yanzhi. Xiao O suggested that Yan Mo apply for the job of Gu Yanzhi’s assistant. Yan Mo passed the assistant exam, but Gu Yanzhi suspected her intentions and refused to hire her.

With only Yan Mo and Xiao O passing the assistant exam, Gu Yanzhi considered hiring Xiao O. But Xiao O declined the job to support Yan Mo. Gu Yanzhi rejected Yan Mo as an assistant, so she had Xiao O work as a janitor to keep an eye on Gu Yanzhi.

Yan Mo followed Gu Yanzhi to a restaurant and saw someone trying to take inappropriate photos. They intervened to help, showing Yan Mo’s dedication to the cause.

Recap of Episode 2 Gu Yanzhi saw that Yan Mo had a strong sense of justice and good professional skills, so he decided to give her a chance as an assistant. Recap of Episode 3 Yan Mo accidentally changed the timing of Song Ranran and Gu Yanzhi’s first meeting, causing it to be delayed by six months. Due to a rainstorm during this incident, Yan Mo caught a cold. Dr. Lu Feiyan noticed Yan Mo’s diminishing life span and decided to check the situation in 2022.

After examining Yan Mo, Dr. Lu Feiyan informed her about her health condition and advised her to rest and recover. Meanwhile, he planned to investigate Song Ranran to see if he could restore the altered history.

Intentionally arriving late to attract attention, Song Ranran found herself being noticed by Lu Feiyan. After the tea house event, Song Ranran expected Lu Feiyan to be interested in her romantically. But Lu Feiyan surprised her by expressing his intention to help her find a suitable partner instead.

Zhou Hanzhang returned and, upon entering the office building, flirted with a girl. Yan Mo went downstairs and, not recognizing him, called security. After discovering Zhou Hanzhang’s identity, Yan Mo realized he was the new assistant recruited by Gu Yanzhi.

Zhou Hanzhang approached Yan Mo to discuss Gu Yanzhi’s situation, and she decided to listen. Knowing she could use alcohol to get Gu Yanzhi’s blood, Yan Mo planned to use this strategy.

In the evening, Yan Mo and her colleagues gathered for a party. She claimed to have control over Gu Yanzhi at work and in her personal life. Colleagues doubted her, so she called Gu Yanzhi on the spot, mentioning the hotel incident and forcing him to meet her at a KTV. Fearing Yan Mo might reveal something, Gu Yanzhi reluctantly went to the KTV, where Yan Mo pressured him to drink a lot. Eventually, he got drunk.

Song Ranran believed Lu Feiyan’s words and, as per the agreed-upon time, returned to the art school where she first met Gu Yanzhi, eagerly waiting for another encounter with him. Upon arriving at the school, she reminisced about the time she first saw Gu Yanzhi playing the piano. Gu Yanzhi also arrived at the art school. Unable to locate the photo at the office, Yan Mo thought it must be at Gu Yanzhi’s home. However, she couldn’t enter Gu Yanzhi’s house, causing her a headache. Zhou Hanzhang sought out Gu Siyu, sharing the details of Gu Yanzhi and Yan Mo’s situation. Surprisingly, Gu Siyu was already aware of the situation and had accepted Yan Mo as her sister-in-law. Zhou Hanzhang then revealed Yan Mo and Xiao O’s cohabitation, prompting Gu Siyu to investigate further. Understanding the situation, Gu Siyu found Xiao O cute and dropped any grudges. Yan Mo, unable to go to Gu Yanzhi’s home, feigned interest in pursuing Gu Yanzhi and sought Gu Siyu’s help. After a long search, Yan Mo carefully collected the photo, planning to surprise Gu Yanzhi with it at home. However, when she arrived, Gu Yanzhi was not there. Without a phone, Yan Mo couldn’t contact Gu Yanzhi and had to ask Gu Siyu for information on where he might be. Gu Yanzhi went to the place where his mother taught him to play the piano, reminiscing about his mother. Yan Mo, learning this, immediately brought the photo to Gu Yanzhi, intending to comfort him. Showing concern for Gu Yanzhi, Yan Mo prompted him to express his love and longing for his mother. Yan Mo busily pushed Gu Yanzhi to greet her, intentionally leaving them alone. Song Ranran wanted to use this opportunity to get closer to Gu Yanzhi. She deliberately wore high heels to climb the mountain, breaking the heel halfway. Song Ranran pretended to twist her ankle, hoping Gu Yanzhi would carry her. After a banter between Yan Mo and Gu Yanzhi, she tricked him into going to a small cabin she had prepared earlier, also inviting Song Ranran to join them. Once inside, Yan Mo covered the cabin with a black cloth, thinking it would help Gu Yanzhi and Song Ranran open up more easily. However, Gu Yanzhi wanted to leave the mountain because of this. Song Ranran, in an attempt to keep Gu Yanzhi, pretended her leg was swollen and lay on the bed for a while. Unfortunately, the rose petals on the bed caused an allergic reaction, making her face red and swollen.

Gu Yanzhi noticed Song Ranran’s issue and rushed to check on her. Song Ranran, thinking she had attracted Gu Yanzhi’s attention, realized it was due to her problem, feeling embarrassed. Worried about Gu Yanzhi seeing her after the allergic reaction, Song Ranran had Lu Feiyan take her to the hospital. Meanwhile, Gu Yanzhi questioned Yan Mo about her concern with him and Song Ranran. Gu Yanzhi explained that he only knew Song Ranran casually and had no feelings for her, causing Yan Mo a headache. Gu Siyu was having a tough time at work when Xiao O came in to talk about Yan Mo and Gu Yanzhi. Gu Siyu was curious and thought Xiao O had feelings for her, which made her happy.

Song Ranran didn’t believe there was nothing going on between Yan Mo and Gu Yanzhi. She didn’t want to lose to Yan Mo, who was just a nanny. She talked a lot in front of Lu Feiyan, who tried to tell her Yan Mo wasn’t who she thought she was, but Song Ranran wouldn’t listen.

Song Ranran wanted Gu Yanzhi to see her performance and compete with Yan Mo. She gave tickets to both of them. Gu Yanzhi’s presence made her nervous, and she kept changing her makeup.

The Gu Yanzhi Group threatened to fire an employee every day because Gu Yanzhi didn’t want to go ahead with the third-phase experiment. This put pressure on him, and he had to resign to protect his coworkers. His colleagues wanted to support him, so the group gave him three days to think.

Gu Yanzhi talked to Old Sui to understand the situation. He found out that the board wanted to continue the experiment, even without him. This meant patients might get worse treatment if he refused. Gu Yanzhi was torn between his principles and his coworkers’ well-being.

Yan Mo noticed his dilemma and gave him advice. She told him to stick to good science and not compromise with the board. At first, Gu Yanzhi was willing to compromise, but Yan Mo’s words changed his mind, which upset Old Sui.

To help his coworkers, Gu Yanzhi decided to talk to Mr. Zhao at the Gu Yanzhi Group’s annual meeting and ask for an extension. He even apologized and tried to clean Mr. Zhao’s shoes when he spilled wine on them. Yan Mo intervened, making things worse to save Gu Yanzhi from further embarrassment.

Mr. Zhao still wanted to make Gu Yanzhi pay. Old Sui suggested giving Gu Yanzhi’s data to someone else and letting him continue his second-phase experiment. Mr. Zhao agreed, and the Gu Yanzhi Group announced a new research base led by Gu Yanzhi.

Gu Siyu attended the meeting, trying to get investment for her business. She couldn’t secure any investments until Zhou Hanzhang offered to invest. She refused, feeling upset. She wished for investment and a caring boyfriend on a shooting star.

Gu Yanzhi’s assistant told him that they might have had samples stolen from their lab. The number of samples was going down too fast, and they couldn’t see who was doing it on the surveillance footage. When Gu Yanzhi called General Zhao, Zhao didn’t seem to care, making Gu Yanzhi think Zhao might be involved.

Suspicious, Gu Yanzhi went to report the theft to Old Sui. But Old Sui, worried Gu Yanzhi might suspect him, temporarily stopped the theft.

A woman named Xiao Zibai, who needed money for her daughter’s surgery, saw the sample theft and recorded it. She planned to use it as leverage to get money for her daughter.

During an annual meeting, Xiao Zibai overheard Old Sui and General Zhao talking. She learned that Old Sui wanted to give data to Zhao. She confronted Old Sui and got $300 from him to stay quiet. She wrote down what she saw and gave it to him.

After settling things with Xiao Zibai, Old Sui sent false evidence about Yan Mo’s identity to Song Ranran, hoping to make her doubt Yan Mo and break her relationship with Gu Yanzhi.

Song Ranran met with Lu Feiyan and got the evidence. When she tried to show it to Gu Yanzhi, Lu Feiyan took it away and promised Song Ranran that Yan Mo and he wouldn’t harm her relationship with Gu Yanzhi. Song Ranran agreed and let go of the matter.

When Song Ranran and Lu Feiyan left, Gu Yanzhi found and pieced together the evidence, learning about Yan Mo’s false identity. This made him doubt their relationship.

Meanwhile, Old Sui had Xiao Zibai send an email exposing unethical experiments by Gao Sheng Group. General Zhao and Old Sui began an internal investigation. Xiao Zibai framed Yan Mo for stealing samples and data.

Old Sui said Yan Mo had a fake identity and might be an industrial spy. Gu Yanzhi couldn’t provide evidence to defend her.

Yan Mo went to explain everything to Gu Yanzhi but couldn’t reveal her real identity because it would reset time. This made Gu Yanzhi sad, and he had to ask her to leave.

Gu Siyu tried to console Gu Yanzhi, but he was too upset. She got angry at Xiao O, accusing him of being part of the deception.

Xiao O felt hurt about losing Gu Siyu as a friend. Yan Mo was worried about Gu Yanzhi’s safety, but Lu Feiyan told her not to worry because they could reset time when they went back to the future.

Song Ranran missed Lu Feiyan and met him. She got evidence of Yan Mo’s fake identity and made a move on Lu Feiyan, surprising him. She saw strange charts in his study, and he joked about being an extraterrestrial.

Forever Love Episode 9 Recap

Lu Feiyan told Song Ranran that he was an extraterrestrial, and to his surprise, she got really excited. She claimed him as her “extraterrestrial” and didn’t pay much attention to the fact that they were from different worlds. Song Ranran invited Yan Mo and shared that she knew Yan Mo was an extraterrestrial too. She said she’d reconsidered her feelings and didn’t like Gu Yanzhi anymore. Yan Mo explained the misunderstanding with Gu Yanzhi and realized it would be tough for them to get together now. She sought advice from Lu Feiyan on how to deal with Song Ranran.

Lu Feiyan explained that Yan Mo was the primary entity in this space, and as long as she wasn’t affected, there wouldn’t be a time-travel reset, and the impact on others would be minimal.
