My Special Girl Episode 1 Recap

In the first episode, the employees of Jiuqian Company were celebrating their move to K11’s new office on a restaurant terrace. Gu Jiuli, the boss, received an invitation to be a judge on Qixiu Live during the celebration. Adai, an anchor participating in the competition, needed a ride and asked Gu Jiuli for help. Gu Jiuli calculated the route accurately, ensuring Adai reached her destination on time. However, during the live broadcast, Gu Jiuli faced facial blindness, making it difficult for him to distinguish between anchors. He left abruptly, and the vote stayed on Adai’s page, making her the weekly champion. Back at the company, Gu Jiuli learned of investor withdrawals from his engine project. Despite the setbacks, he fought hard to surpass his competitors. After work, employees discovered a new tech company across the street, led by the talented Gu Jiuli. Anchors tried to connect with him on WeChat, but Adai was the only successful one. Adai shared her admiration with her aunt Chen Yibai, who thought it was just a daydream. Adai messaged Gu Jiuli before bed, received a reply, and was overjoyed. The next morning, she returned to her normal routine—being a senior student by day and a beautiful anchor by night, leading a double life.
