In the fourth episode, Cheng Yao finds herself indebted to Qian Heng after a drunken escapade, leading to an unexpected agreement for her to move back to the rental house. Qian Heng, seeking a solution to his insomnia, sees this as an opportunity for Cheng Yao to assist him in daily life.

The next morning, Cheng Yao wakes up to the reality of owing Qian Heng for the previous night’s assistance. Qian Heng presents her with a bill, and when she realizes she can’t afford it, he suggests an alternative repayment plan—becoming his life assistant again. Cheng Yao reluctantly agrees, and as she moves back to the rental house, she learns more about Qian Heng’s habits and struggles with insomnia.

Cheng Yao, having seen threatening letters in the company’s storage room, takes precautions by purchasing self-defense tools. In an attempt to express gratitude for the free accommodation, she arranges a special midnight snack. However, Qian Heng, unhappy with the noise, requests her to start cooking again, leading to a humorous kitchen mishap. Cheng Yao, thinking Qian Heng has fallen asleep, discovers he is still awake and silently enjoys the feast she prepared.

At work, Wu Jun advises Cheng Yao to play a supplementary role in assisting Qian Heng with daily tasks. Qian Heng, not adept at dealing with people, agrees to reimburse Cheng Yao for some living expenses. Wu Jun continues to encourage Cheng Yao to strengthen her relationship with Qian Heng.

As Cheng Yao leaves the company, she unexpectedly witnesses a scuffle between Qian Heng and two men. Thinking they are attackers, she uses her anti-wolf spray on them, only to discover they are Qian Heng’s mother’s bodyguards. The misunderstanding adds a touch of comedy to the workplace dynamics.

Back at home, Qian Heng confronts his mother’s pretend illness and promises to adjust his lifestyle for better sleep. Meanwhile, Wu Jun eagerly anticipates a meeting with Cheng Xi, reminiscing about their high school days. Cheng Xi proposes dinner as a thank-you gesture for Wu Jun helping Cheng Yao join the law firm.

At the dinner, Wu Jun’s true feelings emerge, and the night takes an unexpected turn. The next morning, Wu Jun wakes up in a hotel room with a hazy memory of the events, leaving the audience intrigued about his mysterious night with Cheng Xi.

This episode weaves humor, workplace relationships, and personal dynamics, setting the stage for potential developments in Cheng Yao’s professional and personal life.
