Yuwei confronts Xingtong
Yuwei woke Xingtong up to confront her about regaining her sight. Xingtong didn’t deny it and also admitted that she could see and saw Yuwei in bed with Chisan. Yuwei was initially shocked but quickly became indifferent.
Why does she hate her?
She confessed that she had hated Xingtong since her father was a lowly driver for Xingtong’s father. Yuwei revealed that Xingtong’s father was not a saintly man and had caused the Qin Group to go bankrupt, leading to Qin Moyao’s father’s suicide in front of Haifang Building.
Xingtong was left in tears as Yuwei went to see Chisan. Chisan was not in a good place, having learned that the Jinxing Corporation had canceled their contract to eliminate Qin Mo Yao, causing him to lose all his money and investments. He took his frustration out on Yuwei, planning to beg Xingtong for forgiveness and blame Yuwei for everything.
The last part of the episode shows Moyan relaxed as he lounges on the couch. He seems not overly concerned by the current situation but his troubles revolve around Xingtong as his heart yearns deeply for her.
