She rushes to Jang-yeol’s aid, rushing him to the hospital, respecting his wishes not to involve the police.

The next day, the people of Mujin visit Jang-yeol in the hospital, offering their well-wishes for his recovery. When Sun-woo displays an unusual knowledge of Jang-yeol’s spleen area, it raises suspicions. Later in the evening, Seung-gil makes an appearance at the hospital and has a chance encounter with Ye-boon. She delves into his memories and uncovers that Seung-gil intentionally aimed for Jang-yeol’s spleen, knowing it wouldn’t be lethal.
Confrontation, Forgiveness, and a Heartbreaking Farewell
Ye-boon fills Jang-yeol in on Seung-gil’s story and his motivations behind the betrayal. Seung-gil has been threatened by Baek, but he’s been trying to protect Jang-yeol in his own way. This revelation leads to a heated argument between Jang-yeol and Ye-boon regarding forgiveness. However, Seung-gil, severely injured, enters the room, attempting to convey something important. This episode had us in stitches, all thanks to that peculiar underwear case. The moment Jang-yeol lost his cool and started bossing around his senior officers was comedy gold. And let’s not forget about the budding romance between Jang-mook and Ye-boon’s aunt – it’s annoyingly delightful in the best way possible. The Jang-yeol and Ye-boon duo is gaining some serious momentum. As they tackle cases together, you can’t help but notice their undeniable connection and the way they genuinely care about each other.
Speaking of connections, Ye-boon is slowly peeling back the layers of Jang-yeol’s icy exterior. On the flip side, Jang-yeol doesn’t seem too thrilled about Ye-boon’s constant chatter when she’s around Sun-woo. Even though he might appear unfazed, it’s pretty clear he’s not too thrilled about Sun-woo and Ye-boon spending so much time together.
