Additionally, there’s Kim Sun-woo (Suho), a seemingly charming individual with hidden secrets.
Jang-yeol’s Inquisitiveness Unleashed
As the episode unfolds, we witness Detective Jang-yeol’s growing curiosity about the extent of Ye-boon’s unique abilities. Meanwhile, a hospital drama unfolds as Sia turns to the internet to seek donations. Detective Jang-mook lands in the hospital following a brawl with the criminal Ted Chang, leading to Ted’s gang’s capture. However, Jang-yeol feels somewhat overshadowed as he was occupied with saving Sia.
A Unique Partnership: Jang-yeol and Ye-boon
Jang-yeol strikes a deal with Ye-boon, urging her to assist him in solving cases to restore his tarnished reputation and return to Seoul. Their collaboration results in some entertaining cases, but Ye-boon’s hands bear the brunt of Jang-yeol’s rigorous training. During a heartfelt moment, Sun-woo and Ye-boon bond over expired snacks, sharing stories of their late mothers and common interests. Sun-woo drops hints about someone he likes, leaving Ye-boon contemplating whether he might be referring to her.
Ok-hee’s Emotions
However, things take a complicated turn when Ye-boon attempts to access Sun-woo’s memories but encounters a blank slate. She soon realizes that her psychic powers have temporarily weakened due to the intense training.
A High-Stakes Case and a Helping Hand
Jang-yeol becomes embroiled in a high-stakes case involving a stolen donor list that could disrupt an upcoming election. Eager to crack the case, he rushes to Ye-boon, only to discover her diminished powers. Determined to aid her recovery, he embarks on a shopping spree for hand products to alleviate her discomfort.
Their mission leads them to a political rally where they plan to touch people’s backs to access their memories. However, Ye-boon fears being perceived as a pervert, while Jang-yeol holds evidence against her—a video capturing her attempt to touch Sun-woo.
An Electrifying Revelation
In a tight spot, Ye-boon calls upon Ok-hee and her squad to create chaos at the rally, allowing her to touch the backs of numerous attendees. In doing so, she stumbles upon a shocking memory that she opts not to share with Jang-yeol. Returning home, Ye-boon revisits a memory involving her grandfather, hinting at a potential connection to the stolen donor list.
Sia’s Shocking Encounter
Meanwhile, streamer Sia visits the convenience store where Sun-woo works. While friendly on camera, her true colors emerge in person. After jotting down her number on Sun-woo’s hand, she becomes embroiled in a car accident and faces an attack by a mysterious figure dressed in black, culminating in a gruesome conclusion.
Behind Your Touch Episode 4 Review
Episode four of “Behind Your Touch” has once again left us with a tantalizing cliffhanger. With the streamer meeting a grim end despite being previously saved, the folks in Mujin village are in for a shock, and the mystery deepens. While it might be tempting to suspect characters like Sun-woo or Ye-boon’s grandfather as the culprits, we can’t rule out the possibility of a surprising twist in store.
Nevertheless, the show continues to excel with its perfect blend of humor, and suspense and a little less in romance. The cast delivers outstanding performances, and the casting choices are truly spot-on, especially Lee Min-ki. Lee Min-ki’s cocky demeanor opposite Ye-boon’s innocence creates an engaging and promising dynamic. And let’s not forget the delightful sub-stories featuring Jang-mook and Ye-boon’s aunt, which add a touch of light-heartedness to the series.
