“Behind Your Touch” weaves an engaging and whimsical narrative full of humor, mystery, and supernatural elements. The story introduces Aunt Hyeon-ok, Ye-boon, and Jang-yeol, blending their personalities and experiences to create a compelling storyline.
Behind Your Touch Episode 3 Recap
Ye-boon pays a visit to Jang-yeol’s place and drops a bombshell about her junior being involved in a kidnapping. Jang-yeol is understandably concerned and asks for more details, but all Ye-boon saw was through her psychic powers, making it difficult to provide concrete information. This frustrates Jang-yeol, and he shows Ye-boon the door, not willing to buy into her story.
Undeterred, Ye-boon takes matters into her own hands and tracks down her junior’s location. When she arrives, things take a tricky turn as she’s caught by her junior. She manages to bluff her way out of the situation but ends up reading the memory of the café staff instead, stumbling upon a rather peculiar fetish memory.
Unfortunately, Ye-boon’s mission doesn’t go as planned, and she returns empty-handed. Back at her hospital, she helps Sun-woo with his kitten by giving it a vaccine. After he leaves, she gets a bright idea to check the memories of the cats living around her junior’s house. Despite her efforts, she doesn’t find any clues.
Later that night, she meets up with her best friend Ok-hee, and her boyfriend, who happens to be the café owner she encountered earlier. Ye-boon drops a hint about his fetish and leaves the café to tail her junior. She sneaks into his house before he arrives, reads a cat’s memory, and discovers his house’s lock combination. Inside, she finds a streaming setup. As she prepares to leave, her junior returns home, and she narrowly escapes by breaking out of the ventilation system. On her way home, Jang-yeol spots her and helps her remove a brick base from her waist.
Ye-boon pleads with Jang-yeol to trust her, but he remains skeptical. She hints at one of his memories, which triggers him. They have a brief conversation before parting ways. Ok-hee assembles her group of friends and instructs them to report any sightings of women near her boyfriend. The next day, Ok-hee confronts Ye-boon and demands proof of her boyfriend’s betrayal. Ye-boon visits the café and gets Ok-hee’s boyfriend drunk in an attempt to gather information.
When he’s sufficiently inebriated, she takes him to a motel. Ok-hee receives information from her friends about a woman taking her boyfriend to a motel, which leads to a misunderstanding when both Jang-yeol and Ok-hee burst into the room. At the police station, Ok-hee vents her anger at Ye-boon, who pleads with her to check the café owner’s house just once. Ok-hee leaves disappointed, and Ye-boon scolds Jang-yeol for calling her a pervert.
Later, Ok-hee storms into her boyfriend’s home and confronts a woman, but she’s taken aback when she realizes it’s her boyfriend dressed as a woman. She discovers a new secret about him, wishes him well, and wonders how Ye-boon found out about it. Meanwhile, Ye-boon searches on MeTube and discovers the streamer Sia, whom her junior appears to be emulating. She tracks down Sia’s address and calls Jang-yeol, trusting him to save the victim. However, Jang-yeol hangs up and assists his fellow cops on a different mission.
At Sia’s place, Ye-boon faces a violent confrontation with her junior and is nearly choked. Fortunately, Jang-yeol arrives in the nick of time to rescue her. Together, they save Sia from the brink of death, leading to the arrest of the culprit and Sia’s hospitalization. Ye-boon questions whether Jang-yeol has finally come to believe her, but he, out of pride, denies it. However, a flashback reveals that Jang-yeol had trusted Ye-boon earlier and rushed to her aid. He eventually accepts her unique ability and offers her food as a token of appreciation.
Behind Your Touch Episode 3 Review
Episode three of the series really turned up the heat in the romance and comedy departments. Ye-boon and Jang-yeol’s frenemy dynamic is on point, and their chemistry is already sizzling. Despite Jang-yeol teasing Ye-boon as a “pervert“, the classic K-drama vibes kicked in when he trusted her and rushed to her rescue. Honestly, I’m starting to get a bit annoyed with him always throwing around the “pervert” label. It’s high time they actually start sparking some chemistry between the main leads.
On a different note, there’s already some intriguing chemistry brewing between Sun-woo and Ye-boon. This love triangle is gearing up to be quite a suspenseful ride. On another note, I have my suspicions about the second lead – he’s been too perfect. What makes me doubt him is that we haven’t witnessed any visions from Ye-boon yet!
As for the comedy, the episode sprinkled in some light humor that flowed naturally with the storyline. It wasn’t an overload of jokes, but it hit the sweet spot. And a big shout-out to supporting characters like Dok-hee, Ye-boon’s aunt, and her lover Jang-mook – they’re spicing up the comedy game.
It may not be a top 5-star K-drama, but I’d say it’s cruising along at a 3-star rating for now. It offers a relaxed viewing experience where you can kick back and enjoy an hour of entertainment without getting too deep into it.
